I started this kit 8 days ago and followed the instructions as it says to. I've had a very active air lock for the last 3 days now so although it says to leave it for 7 then bottle etc but its still active. Took a reading and it came out at 1.008 and tastes pretty good. I'm going on holiday on...

I've been to the Maldives but not that island. A couple if tips, if your budget stretches to it get a water villa and book your transfer by sea plane. It is truly paradise out there!!
My coopers lager didnt show any signs of bubbles through the airlock when i did my first brew. The lid must leak somewhere, i added some vaseline around the thread and the next brew was bubbling away happily.
My first coopers had no bubbles from the airlock either it's just the seal on the lid letting air out. Give it a smear with Vaseline before your next one and it should help with the seal
A mate has just done a woodforde wherry but is having problems with seal on his keg. Says it tastes good. I've heard all the good reviews for the cerveza so thought I'd give it a go, it's bubbling away like crazy as we speak!
Well after doing the Australian lager kit I've gone and bought the new coopers diy kit along with the wheat beer. So now I can do 2 at a time!
Mexican cerveza in the old coopers fermenter and the wheat beer in the new one. I don't think I'll ever need to buy beer again!
