Ok so I'm using a coopers starter kit, started brewing on saturdat but its still not bubbling, temp according to the strip is 24 (feels colder when you touch the outside of the FV), should I try to raise the temp. somehow?

Whats not bubbling, the beer or the airlock?

If it's the airlock I wouldn't worry, theres probably air escaping around the rim of the bucket lid.

If there is absolutely no activity in the bucket and hasn't been ever since you put the yeast in then there may be a problem, although it would be highly unlikely.

The best thing to do would be to test the gravity with a hydrometer then if it has dropped since you started you will know it is working fine.

The airlock doesn't appear to be bubbling, there is evidence of some frothing inside the FV, i'll take a reading and see where I stand.

My First brew hardly bubbled at all dont worry, especially if youcan see froth!

good luck with your brew.

My first coopers had no bubbles from the airlock either it's just the seal on the lid letting air out. Give it a smear with Vaseline before your next one and it should help with the seal

The FV lid loosely fitted is quite adequate for fermenting beer, as it keeps the fly etc out.
If you want to watch bubbles, get a fermenter with the 4" screw on lid from Wilco's!
Your ferment is progressing ok.
