Hola!

Me and my buddy Jose are just sat back tasting a nice (and yet young) Mexican Cerveza. For a nice light beer this is the best so far.

Nicely carbonated but without a doubt the beer will improve with age.

Looks delicious :thumb:
Hate to admit this but looking at those pictures has made me fancy a larger

got mine conditioning now, already had a sample though, obviously ive got to test it :thumb:

mexican cerveza is the next on my list of beers to brew. just as soon as i can get the aussie lager out the bucket, roll on the weekend, should be done by then and ready for bottling.

having had a look through the kits available i am quite keen on a number of them though.

I have now tried the following kits in the following order and would rank them as posted in () :

Coopers Canadian Blonde (6)
Coopers Australian Pale Ale (7)
Coopers Aussie Lager (5)
St Peters Ruby Red Ale (1)
Coopers Brewmaster Irish Stout (2) (Made with DarkMalt Extract and 56g Black treacle)
Coopers Dark Ale (4) (Made with Light malt extra)
Coopers Mexican Cerveza (3)

All kits I have to say were fantastic just some more than others.

Looking good! I still have a few bottles left from march, I have to have it with a dash of lime as otherwise there's not much flavour, added tequila and lime to a few of them, taste similar to desperados except the carbonation died within a minute

Will try the Canadian blonde next time as that's had quite good reviews

This was the first kit I ever did & to date it's the best tasting.

Here's my recent topic: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=17313

It's currently at 5% after just over 2 weeks so I'm sure it's stopped fermenting but I'm giving it another 10 days or so to clear more. I like the taste of it, seems to have a citrus tang to it, quite nice & easy to drink. :drunk:

Coopers mexican cervaza
Its my second time I have Brewed Coopers, the first a few years ago, I added muntons light spray malt this time to give a little body
I brewed the beer (10 Gallons) 21.02.11 ABV 4.95% and tapped beginning of July, tasted O.K. We had a BBQ 30th July and it went down well
Some liked it on its own, but tasted better if you squeeze lime in the glass.
No finnings were added and it was clear. I have found that its tastes better with age, its still going strong and very refreshing on a hot day :wha: or whenever

Well shared Micky!

I am quite impressed so far with the brew which for 7 days old is pretty darn good!

I did try some with a drop of Lime cordial which was ok but not like having a lime in one.
