    What other juices are good to use for a TC?

    I did one the other day - 15 L of Apple and 5 L of pineapple - turned out ok. Only cos Aldi ran out of Apple juice. :cheers:

    help please

    Sounds to me like its stuck - give it a stir and get it somewhere warm - if it stays at 1030 for a couple of days pitch some more yeast - otherwise you risk it going off.

    Woop! My First TC Brewday!

    If its still bubbling I would leave it alone until its been fermenting for about 7-8 days. Then test the SG every day until it stays the same for two days running. It should be easily ready by the 18th.

    Help! 2nd ever brew...

    No worries - the general rule of thumb is a constant hydrometer reading for 3 days. I don't think its stuck - others may know better. It'll be ok for two weeks in the FV - some people leave it in for 4 weeks!!!! As long as the lids on - any bubbles in the airlock?

    Muntons Gold Continental Pilsner

    Yes - I'm just starting to drink it. Very nice smooth lager. Lovely body with a good foamy head. Mine didn't clear very well either. A very acceptable Pilsner.
