    I have 3 pounds of sloes in the freezer and I like my sloe gin . I honestly think it would be a waste of good sloes

    I use warm tap water after I sterilize them and just pour the sterilizing liquid from one dj into the next so I do about 3 at a time

    I have 3lb of sloes in the freezer I want to make sloe gin with I have made it before I want to make 3 litres the last recipe said use two wine glasses of sugar for a litre bottle so my question is this Do I triple the sugar as I'm attempting 3 litres as once I put it in I can't take it out ?

    Wine clears very nice mate with finnings I have shook it before and it's about the same quickness . The back has been shoot for years use to the pain now been on crotches for 3 years so the physical part in degassing is a bit much for me to handle so I tend to skip that

    I don't degas as I have a messed up back and the last time I tried I could not walk for two days never had any problems with it .

    Is your brew the right temperature to cold will stop it to hot will kill it . You could always make a yeast starter .

    I have seen bleach strip it off before my eyes mate good stuff . As a ex surfer I hate using any chemicals
