Lone bottle I found of a Harlequin IPA I brewed in Aug 22.
Nice foamy lacing down the glass, Caramalt helps I think.
Used Nottingham in this, I mostly use Verdant now but based on this I'll give
Notty a go again.

Now having a Weizen (and three kinds of Sausage).
German beer may be very restrictive in terms of style and type but they do execute the beers they make extremely well. This is a classic Weizen nice hints of clove and banana but overall just an excellent well balanced beer (and does very well with the sausage platter.
1st attempt at Stout - Coopers Irish with 1kg dark DME and 3 shots of espresso. 3 days in the keg at 15psi.
Next pint will be Xmas eve

Jim likes it, but for me it tastes like I've had a mouthful of rocket (or really strong antibiotics)
and it doesn't go away in-between sips. The oxidisation is starting I think as well, judging by the colour. I'll still drink it though. Colour is much more dull in person. Positives are lovely aroma, and it has all my favourite hops in it.

I prefer the airport lounges, yes it costs but unlimited drink and table service

Temperature controller on my keezer failed for the second time in a month. Luckily had planned to clean my lines this morning so caught it before the beer got too cold. It was old and I've probably abused the probe so a replacement has been ordered.
Taking a while to warm back up so here is a rather chilly strong bitter. Polypin should turn up tomorrow so will be transferring into that as need the keezer space for a stout.

Last of my downton trio and the first to be actually carbonated. It’s interesting that they call it IPA because it isn’t bitter, more like a lighter coloured strong ale along the lines of 1845 perhaps.
This one is a little bit nicer. Husband is just pouring me a stout next. Will update with pics shortly if he manages to get a good one

I'm finishing off the last three beers from this month's Beer52 box, not hugely impressed overall but I think choosing the 'light beers only' option kinda hamstrung my selection...
Nice enough if a little muted in flavour, a higher ABV than many self proclaimed 'session' beers which is nice.
Bitter...and...murky, rather than hazy, not my kinda thing. I'm sure it will appeal to some, but it's a big thumbs down from me.
The last one of the batch and the only 500ml can from the box.
Very nice indeed, pleasant malty sweetness and smooth mouthfeel, I've a feeling more than a couple of these could get a little cloying though.
