I got the perspective wrong and thought that gluhwein was a bucket of end of fermentation new beer.

Yep, as suspected best as a first beer, as it's fairly bitter as well as hoppy and malty rich to follow on.

My keezer is in my kitchen (where the zonal thermostat is so good room temp).

I've had the temp controller maybe ten years. I used to have the probe dangling in some starsan but over time it became submerged for periods. Not sure of their IP rating but probably not designed as such.

After the first incident (a small keg was frozen solid, rest were kind of slush) I adjusted the calibration and changed the probe to read from a gel pack instead of liquid. Was doing ok until this morning.

Hop: Cascade, Superdelic, HBC 630.
DH: Mosaic, Sabro
Yeast and Phantasm the same in all 3 beers.

A try of one I made to use up grain. Pilsner malt a bit of crystal 150g of huel melon and 10ml of crossmyloof nectron hop extract in the keg. Still a bit green but the taste and aroma are there. Smells like it was dry hopped. Decent stuff and will buy again.
