Really pleased with this. Was drinking the one above mainly because it's one of my favourite beers and I wanted a direct comparison. This one of mine has Centennial and Riwaka with a little Simcoe and more than happy with it.

It's a bit daunting since I've only ever done one gallon BIAB on a portable stove, feels like I'm finally doing it 'properly' now but I'm sort of dreading something going awry!

Home again with a carry-out or six. We had a good evening at the tap room, they had an old rocker playing some music and to be fair he wasn’t bad. Anyway, I’m on Trigger and my wife is on toffee-apple cider.

I'd try doing it as a SMASH with just Vienna. I made a Chinook/Vienna SMASH and it was brilliant. (I was going to say even though I say so myself but others agreed).
I didn’t try it but my wife said it was fairly sweet and fruity but also subtle. She said it was very nice.

Yes, I can imagine it giving it a nice sour twang. We grow rhubarb (or more correctly it grows in our garden) so I might make one.
1 of 5. CF310. These beers are the same base, small whirlpool of Harlequin and 7g/l dry hop of the test hop after fermentation.
The official description says strawberry, red fruit, woody. I can sort of get strawberry but it doesn’t have much residual sweetness - maybe you would accentuate that if the beer was designed for this hop. It is interesting.
