Kegged this Admiral & Challenger IPA a week ago and still clearing but tastes promising.
Surprisingly fruity aroma and taste, I was expecting some orange from the Admiral but the Verdant yeast plays a bit part in this I think.

Original recipe was an Archer IPA, but had to change plans mid brew after opening the pack to find whole hops dried out and unusable.
I won't bother with bargain hops again unless they're pellets it's not worth the couple of quid you might save.

Was on the pints of my own nitro bitter earlier and then decided to crack the latter. The Hobgoblin is a complete new one on me but I'm really liking it.

When in Corfu have this slightly too sweet Pilsner....I preferred the Mythos I had earlier but alas no picture of that. Albania tomorrow, more generic lager beer photos coming up!

A new one for me tonight. Problem is, it's 6.8%, so I can't have a pint at the brewery.
So brought one home. Not bad. Ironically, the pint I actually had at the brewery was better and it was only 4.9%.

Another whiskey tour. Bought a rum cask at €140 a bottle

didn’t realise it was that price but it was bloody lovely.
And got a bottle of cask strength for €99 but didn’t have to pay for that one as my son in laws bought me it

The carnival, street performers, stalls etc. all went well and they had great attendance.

The evening entertainment is an 80’s band called the wild boys, they’re just warming up a bit now.

I’ll be mostly drinking Faith tonight.

I have big news. The odds are likely we are going to be moving to the USA indefinitely. It will be a good few months before everything is finalised but I'm very excited for the possibility. I will of course still pop in when I can.
