yeast harvesting

Hi,

I'm relatively new to brewing and i'm having a go at yeast harvesting, i've followed instuctions i've found from various sources but i appear to have made a lava lamp, does anyone have an idea where i've gone wrong?

I tried to harvest from a primary fermentation using white labs yeast.

Different yeast strains behave in different ways. Some do this and some won't.

Nothing to worry about.

Thanks for the reply, I put it through the blender earlier but i think it needs to go through again as its still a bit lumpy. Hopefully it'll be easier to sort it out then.
