Our Pippy gets a bit excited. She's daft as a brush but a great house dog...as they all are.
A couple of farms round here sell direct to the public the only down side is you are not guaranteed they are open so have to go to the other (doesn't happen often) fresh veg at a fraction of the price the supermarket charges, we don't buy much in the supermarket now.Seriously though what's gonna happen if the farmers double or treble what they're prepared to sell for regardless of the strangle hold the likes of Mr Tesco and Asda have them under?
My Spaniel dislikes Huskies. She used to have a problem with black dogs too, but not so much now.Our springer spaniel was always at least snarly towards black labradors.
Was he racist or a typist? ( note no good at typing as useless with his thumbs).
Yip My wee dug doesn't like black dogs. Won't go near them. She also doesn't like muslims. I figure its because they shy away from her and she picks this up. She has no problems with Afro Caribbeans though. Other hates include flat bed trucks, trailers and fireworks. My Spaniel dislikes Huskies. She used to have a problem with black dogs too, but not so much now.
I spoke to both to the lady the looks after ours for holidays and also a behaviourist.
Apparently, a lot of dogs don't like any black dog, particularly labs, because they can't see the expression on their faces. Dogs are mostly colour blind (they can only see yellow, blue and grey) so black is difficult.
