Yeast for Christmas Beers

I'm going to do the Winter Warmer and Christmas Ale recipes from Greg Hughes' book. I'm too tight to buy "proper" yeast so I was going to S-04 for both, but was wondering if using something like Liberty Bell for one of them might make the two brews more distinctive...

Either S04, or CML Beoir.
