Hi there,

I’m fairly new to brewing and only do the kit cans, so far Iv done three European lagers, a Mexican cerveca and an IPA rip off of elvis juice with grapefruit and orange peel thrown in - it was spot on! Iv made a fermentation chamber out of an old bottle fridge.
Now I was going to try a NEIPA but what is the best way of getting the oaty haze? Is it possible to boil some oats and chuck it in the fermentor with a Pale Ale can when I’m mixing it all up? Followed by dry hopping during fermentation then some more once it’s finished? Any advise would be great!

I'm no expert with extract but we at HB club recently had an extract challenge with some free hops we were given. I did something like 50/50 wheat/pale some sugar to bump up the abv, a chloride heavy water profile and the obligatory massive split dry hop. I was rather impressed with the beer but the best part was its so much easier than an all grain brewday.

+ 1 acreid. This works well. Dry hop high krausen as well as a few days before bottling.DDH, you get extra haze.
