I've just racked my first wine made with black grape and blackcurrant juice and orange juice. I followed the how to on this forum adding the pectolase, potassium sorbate etc etc and the problem is it tastes really nice but is more like a medium/sweet rose dessert wine than a nice normal drinking wine can I do anything to it to make it more like rose??

What was your OG and FG? If it's sweet did it ferment down to .990? As you seem to have stopped it with pot sorb there isn't much you can do. I would make another batch of rose using 1 RGJ & 1 Cranberry, 800-900g sugar. You want a SG of about 1.080. Ferment out to dry (.990) and then blend. The RGJ & Cranberry will come out a nice rose colour, and be dry so blended should be fine.

It fermented down to just over .990 but its still very sweet, it has a nice rose colour but is quite a thick tasting dessert wine?! God knows whats happened!! I will try the recipe you have suggested and blend as i'm not into my dessert wines!! Thanks :thumb:
