Why do you say that, Chippy?
Does all the juice in the UK come from home-grown grapes?

When white grape juice vanished from the shelves many years ago i emailed the big supermarkets they said the crop had failed and as demand was so low they were not going to stock it again that was roughly nine years ago, i have checked online and 100% juice doesnt come up on ASDA ot Tesco sites so i assume its still scarce or they have never restocked it.

Fair enough.

I've never messed around with juice and I'm only doing it now out of curiosity. If you had 5 litres of white, what would you make with it?
I'm still going to make the dessert wine with sultanas and a yeast rich in beta-glucosidase, but I can always get another 5 Litres for about £7 so I might as while give it a go while I'm on a roll.
Incidentally, the white juice is by no means colourless, it;s a light honey colour.

The first juice wine I liked was made with 1 litre of 100% apple juice and 1 litre 100% white grape juice I then started using 1.5 litres apple juice and 1 litre white grape in a demijohn to give it a little extra taste, I did try 4 litres of juice but that was way too much like an alcopop.

I'll be stocking up on white grape juice next summer when I go to France again :-)

Have one bottle of this left. Can't wait to pop it open over Xmas.
