Not wanting to labour the point @Chippy_Tea , but why do you add apple juice instead of all grape juice? Just got some grape juice and some apple juice from the supermarket to try (a smaller volume) of the above. Is it to save costs?
Many tried using all grape juice as an experiment when the WOW (
Worzels
Orange
Wine )thread first started and it didn't taste good a split of apple and grape juice was much better.
Again, why add the water instead of just going with the juice?
If you use 100% juice it turns out too strong like an alcopop not wine, again tried in the early days and members always went back to basic recipe.
