just took hydro reading after a week airlock was going slowly. it looked like it still had a bit to go, but now bubbling as stopped and beer looks flat were before you could tell it was still fermenting, its only been about half an hour, so what i would like to find out is it likely to start again if i leave it for a while. thanks for any advice. :wha:

By taking a reading you have let the pressure that had built up out and as a result it will not bubble for a while because fermentation will have slowed right down as it is near the end. If there is visable signs iof fermentation I dont see the point in taking a reading. Wait till it is no longer visable then wait a few more days then start testing.

By the sounds of it it is still going so leave it 3-4 days then check again :thumb:
