Real ales and craft beer enjoyment got me interested.
I read the forums sporadically for a couple years before I started.
Had a bit of a backwards step in life but it meant I could give home brew a go. Starting with basic kits, doing a wine and a cascade hopped kit now. Moving onto AG post summer.
Just giving it a go and enjoying the ride.

I was given a Coopers kit as a Christmas present from my uncle 8 years ago. After brewing a couple of kits trying to make high-alcohol rocket fuel for my uni days and discovering that beers don't have to taste like megaswill lagers, I brewed a handful of partial-mash beers before going AG.
