Serendipity. So named because I think I ballsed it up completely, yet came out with something good - a happy mistake if you like.
First off I didn't hit my length (I think I must have had a few, and didn't write much down and forgot to take losses in the boil into account, or something), but still added all the Goldings I was going to use.
It was meant to be a strong pale ale. It came out cloudy.
So with all those Goldings giving quite a floral citrus thing (maybe orangey or apricot or something), and the haze (I think I may have added twice the amount of wheat I was meant to), and the strength (5%+), and my overcarbonating, it's ended up a really nice summery belgiany thing, after two months in the bottle. Just wish I knew how I made it!
