After a house fire there is no way the wife is letting me loose with a propane burner within 100yds of the property
My gas hob uses propane, off a 19kg bottle. But, being fixed to an electric grill and oven, isn't exactly loose!

You don't *need* pumps, chillers, etc. The minimum is a boiler, some demi-johns with air locks, and a plastic brewing bucket with a lid. And some plastic tubing for siphoning.

I might treat myself to some new fermentation buckets. Currently have 4 but only one has a decent fitting lid (yes I do expect bubbles through the airlock!).

You don't even need a boiler, a pot on the stove will do.
Trouble is anyone who gets into all grain and stays with it, won't settle for the minimum equipment 😂

I guess so, but personally, in my attempts at BIAB on a stove-top I found temperature control for mashing a bit tricky; it's a lot easier with a boiler. The only thing I still brew on the stove-top these days is the parsnip stout, and that's cos it doesn't require mashing. I am one who's stayed with the basic equipment, though. I prefer its zen-like simplicity! :D

Thanks for all of the replies.

I’ve managed to pick up an igloo water cooler 25ltr for £15, a tefal induction hob for £20 and a Kegland SS boiler for £50. Need a mesh bag a grain kit from Santa for a New Year brew.

Oh and a bit more reading / Utube watching
You can make great beer with that basic equipment.
I used to use a cool box mash tun and a burco boiler I made fantastic beers with that set up.
I predict judging by the fact that you've already got a 30 liter pressure fermenter, oxybar and corny kegs, you won't be able to resist upgrading eventually 😉
