The photo shows todays drink and the three kegs “on tap” today!

The pint is OOD English Bitter, from the left hand Keg; the centre Keg is European Lager and the one on the right is Ruby Red.

Down below I have another Keg of Lager conditioning and two American IPA’s carbonating/conditioning.

Happy Summer (hopefully)! 🙏

Beerworks Dark Strawberry Belgian Ale, slight hint of strawberries and chocolate. Not something you can rush, definitely something you take your time with and very enjoyable.

I started early today ‘cos the temperature was at 28*C in the BrewShed and the OOD English Bitter finally ran out yesterday!

I decided to go with a Lager and after 5 weeks of conditioning it tasted and looked superb!

Note the drawn curtains to keep the heat out! It’s at 25*C in the shade outside! “Hot” by UK standards!

Kegged a Wilko Cerveza brew on the 22nd with 250ml of Citra Hop Tea. I had a couple of unadulterated litres of Cerveza left in the FV so I stuck it into a water bottle.

I let a bit of pressure off yesterday, brought it into the house and poured out a glass today! The Cerveza was as flat as a pancake so I did the syringe trick and “voila” a head appeared!

It tastes really nice without the Hop Tea so “Bring on the hot weather!”

Started with a MYO American IPA kit which I brewed with a litre of Mango Juice.

It hasn’t cleared yet (after nearly 6 weeks) but the “glass full of foam” has finally gone (presumably caused by the high temperature last week) and it tasted quite pleasant. However, I was very disappointed that the brew had a ZERO taste of Mango!

Just trying @Alastair70 American amber 6%

Pours a dark red with good clarity when held to the light. Nice carbonation and great head retention.
Aroma: Dark malt is dominant, sweetness then a mild hop aroma. Really nice full mouth feel, it has a creamy finish which I like. Hops again are in the background which suit the style. Light citrus and pine
Overall a really nice beer that is well balanced 👏

Which of the many American Amber kits is this, do you know?

Happy Weekend everyone. I’m enjoying a Mangrove Jacks Pink Grapefruit IPA 🍺 out beside the BBQ.
Last night I drank the last pint of my batch of Midas Touch.

Having a Citra IPA now. I’ve just 5 of these left. It was a full extract kit from the Homebrew Company. Easily the best beer I’ve brewed yet. Will definitely do it again.

Mangrove Jack's kveik ipa. 3 weeks in the bottle. Hasn't cleared yet, but easily my best brew yet (I haven't done that many beers). I could spend a lot of money on this if it was being served in a pub.

I was moving a few empty bottles about today in the garage to organise a bit of space when I moved a box of empty bottles which actually had a couple of bottles of Admirals Reserve I made a couple of years ago.The malty liquorice taste is excellent.I love finding bottles I've stashed away, they always taste better than when I made it. Cheers everyone, Salut!
