Just had a look at the AG kits they do and they look good, a little pricey tho but might give the Shipyard AG a try. Thanks for the heads upNext time I will brew the all grain

Looks a good pint Tanglefoot, one for the list. I'm really looking forward to my MJ Juicy. Did the Young's IPA, lovely pint, but didn't half take its time.Pleased with this MJ American IPA, best I've done after the Youngs

I suggest th MJ Simcoe IPA, it's quite bitter and needs more than the 50g of simcoe provided. I've done this around 10 times now and it's always turned out nice (even when drank young) or the MJ Brut IPA, comes with 50g of citra to dry hop but not that hoppy when finished, this is a really dry drink but one I enjoy (maybe not to your taste)?recommendations for my next 2 purchases please
They are not bad kits i have done a few of then, pale al, yorkshire bitter, brown ale and lager, all with dme added enjoyed them allSimply Pale Ale, I added 500g extra light DME and 500g sugar. It's only been bottled a month so still young but it's not bad but will benefit from a little more conditioning. First time of doing a 'Simply' kit and pleasantly surprised.Cheers folks, good health.View attachment 39559
How would you rate the kits against your all grain. I keep meaning to try a kit again. It's been maybe 5 years now since I brewed one. They are not bad kits i have done a few of then, pale al, yorkshire bitter, brown ale and lager, all with dme added enjoyed them all
An honest opinion Sam, kits are very drinkable and I like to play with them, but they will never be as good as all grain, I mainly do them over winter when it’s to cold to brew outsideHow would you rate the kits against your all grain.
