New Zealand Brewer's series Golden Ale. Cheap, easy to make and consistently lovely. I prefer red ales, but this has become my 'go to brew' when in between more complicated endeavors.
What did you add to it? I ask because I did the pale ale in that series and was impressed but thought it needed more than 1kg of enhancer and also that a moderate dry hopping would have much improved it.New Zealand Brewer's series Golden Ale. Oo..I've still got a few bottles of Admirals reserve that I did last year,It's really nice now, but I wasn't sure about it when it was young, although to be fair I had a job keeping it cool when fermenting in hot weather.
Commiserstions. I have never done this one but having seen so many glowing reviews decided I would like to but no site I have looked at has it in stock. Maybe it's the current rush on good kits but I think it was originally introduced as a limited edition and perhaps the limit has expired though I hope not!Sitting here drinking my very last bottle of Mangrove Jacks‘ Juicy Session IPA. I’m very sorry to see it go - absolutely cracking beer which I really can’t fault. It’s perfectly named - not too strong, but full of juicy fruits and hop aroma. A truly outstanding kit beer.
