Brewed this one on Sunday, also used Admiral to bitter, I used Atlantic though, interested to hear how it turns out, it sounds great!
In retrospect I probably could have used the Atlantic but I don’t have proper temperature control so tend to switch to Kweik yeasts in the summer but this week has actually being relatively mild so suspect I could have gotten away with it. I also made the CML Māori Mingle kit recently which has basically the the same grain bill (different hops of course) and it turned out really well so I’m feeling fairly optimistic on this one.

Funnily enough I was regretting my decision yesterday as the temp reached 25c in the fv, I do have temp control but didn't think it would get that high...grrrr, now it's calmed down a bit it's cooled off. I didn't use quite the same bill, I need to use up some lager malt so used a 1kg of that, and used caragold as I had some to use up. 👍

Brewing outdoors for a change today and the weather god's are playing ball🤞🏼
Doing my first American Wheat hopped with Adeena, crystal and a sprinkle of Talus.

CML Hebridean Wildcat, one gallon AG padded out to 1.5 gallons to use up spare grain ends, Perle, Saaz and CML4 yeast, OG1.060 & good brew smells great, cheers all

Today I put bottled up my Tom Claxton Real Ale which comes in at 3%. I have tried the Tom Claxton range before with their best bitter and quite liked the results. Next time I have a Burton Bridge Brewery - Summer Ale that I am quite looking forward to putting on. Hope it lives up to my expectations.

Brew day done. Two points up again today. This one is having to live in the kitchen as my brew fridge and garage fv space are both occupied. I even managed to weigh and bag into 2kg bags a 25kg sack of maris otter.

Brewed a loose "Kwak" clone, which came out a bit low on gravity but still 1062 @18C so should be a nice drop!
tweaked the recipe a bit following Gordon Strong's "brewing better beer" recipe for a Belgian triple.
Following a fermentation profile of 1 degree increase per day from 17C upto 23C.
I used crossmyloofs "belgian" yeast.
