Last night....two pints of muntons Belgian out the keg. The keg now seems to be holding pressure again and for a brown beer it's quite clear. It isn't a bad drink to be fair,it would have been good with a nice dry hop...but it'll do while my stocks are receiving

Last night
Galaxy, cloudy but nice and smooth. Needs more conditioning.
Mandarina Wheat Beer. Very subtle mandarin taste, nice refreshing drink though. SWMBO loves it. Result!

Just had a 3 Bean Stout by Lervig in Norway and it was one of the most incredible imperial stouts I've ever tasted. Flavoured with vanilla, coffee, and tonka bean and 13% ABV. Unbelievably good beer, look out for it :beer1:

A quick 1/4 pint of my Kentucky Common that is finally starting to clear, which is good, but has developed a bit of a yeast taste that it didn't have, which is bad. Hopefully, it will go soon.

Now drinking some ESB from Felinfoel brewery.

I've just finished the last litre of a Coopers Lager Kit (Sob! Sob!)

I started it back in July with 900g of Golden Syrup instead of sugar and cry hopped with 40g of Citra.

It has been a real pleasure to drink as a "Session Beer" and was much appreciated by friends from Glasgow who came to visit a couple of weeks ago.

Luckily, I have a B&M brew ready to go into the King-Keg. I've dry hopped it with Hallertau Hops instead of using the hops provided in the B&M kit so hoping for a slightly less bitter taste.

A couple of Greene King Heritage beers. Just had the Suffolk Pale Ale, which was quite nice. Now on the vintage fine ale, which is better. The pale was perhaps a little over carbed.

Both are pretty good considering they are Greene King.

An odd mix tonight:
  • First taste of 'The Madness' velvet stout. Good chocolate and liquorice flavours. Needs a few more weeks but promising so far.
  • Followed by 'Face Off' sours from @dad_of_jon. Great flavour, lip smacking stuff. An aroma of sweet candy and a hint of orange and lemon. I didn't get any head, not sure if I'm supposed to? But, there's just enough fizz there to highlight the tanginess. A little reminder of cloudy cider too. Refreshing.
  • Might try a glass of hard cider next. Well carbonated but a bit young still, anything else would be weird after the sours!

Had these from cloudwater last night the Pina colada was OK but the other two were very nice indeed. Not keen on there new can design though, used to have ingredients listed and clues to hop schedule.

Just had a bottle of Blue Moon for the first time in years and it's a full on diacetyl bomb, like drinking melted butter. Anyone else noticed this?

B&m tequila n lime, done in a 2ltr bottle + a 500ml one, feeling a bit pi**ed already.

Tangerine Dream from beer52 - really good, and I need to get a move on and make soemthing that tasty for Xmas. Next I'll be on a wilko stout I have that added hops to. Love it (see my other posts for the tweaks I followed)

Drank a Belgian Pale this pm watching the rugby and this evening am enjoying a wee drop of the second beer of 2018 - a Stout bottled on 9 February - 1kg Flaked Barley, 500g Roast barley - that sort of a beer.
