that's about the only one worth buying in tesco's :rofl: I do feel guilty buying from the big 4 supermarkets:lol:
unless i fancy beer flavoured pop. Which only happens about 28-29 december after a mega indulgance of rich everything!
it's 9.2% although i'd rather have a bengali tiger :grin:. damn they were sold out in bangor weatherspoons last week :cry:

Just about to finish the last dregs of saison, then maybe have a sample of my stout and then EPA. They've both had two weeks in the warm, and a day in the cold, so must be worth a go!!

And a couple of my vanilla porters to top it off.
Before anyone asks, I work in a pub, I don't start until 6pm tomorrrow :P

Been hitting the the tropical punch tonight, considering you don't have to have to add hops, this stuff does the business. The problem is that I have to be up at 6:20am tomorrow morning, best I'd get to bed. But this stuff don't really care what time I have to be up, night night.

Brakspear Oxford Gold. Last of the lot from Lidl, who seem to have stopped stocking it much to my annoyance. Will be looking to replicate it in some way as soon as I have gleaned a recipe and started from scratch brewing instead of kits.

My own Coopers stout which is a little explosive when opening as I over primed. Have to be very careful when I open each bottle, don't like to waste any :drink::drink::drink:

My lidl generally stock WELSH beers, so perhaps it's just localised brands. In the specials aisle today they had Oxford gold though so may be worth calling in your store
A we'll wheat again, a golden haze and a 750ml bottle of lindemans oude gueuze cuvee rene - special blend 2010 limited edition.
wow - getting a bacon aftertaste not as much undiluted orange squash flavour you get in the boon oude gueuze. The boon is about ã4 a bottle the lindemans nearer ã7. Amazingly dry finish :shock: even for a gueuze.

My Winter Frost ale has hit it's stride; it's definitely 'doze off in front of the telly' strength...
