Drinking an Innis and Gunn "craft" lager at the minute, we got given some Innis and Gunn beers from a friend who went to the good food who

Anyway got to admit this lager is really really bland and under carbonated its almost like cordial. Pretty disappointed will try the toasted oak IPA next, have some otehr rum ones and originals to try but that will be for another night..

Just decided that with the amount of rain and cr@p weather we've had this evening, an old Mild that I brewed in January would do the trick and it did!

A head like a Guinness and really smooooth! Unfortunately, I only have about four pints left!

Had my last bottle of Cloudwater DIPA v3 last night :-(
It was absolutely superb - I think it's hit it's peak. Still hoppy as fook, but all those flavours have matured and combined more. The juiciness.... Oh the juiciness!

I dabbled with the M&S contract brewed range over the weekend. They've got a 20% saving if you buy 3 or more - although it's not advertised on the shelves anywhere. Only realised when the 5 beers I bought only came to £7.84!!

Adnams - Sorachi Sasin, Mosaic Pale Ale and Laid Back IPA
Harbour - American Pale Ale
Harviestoun - Lowland Glen Amber

The Sorachi Saison was a monster of beer, packs a real lemon herbal and spicy hit. Awesome beer.
The Harbour APA was also superb. Citrus, pine and mango flavours, good body and not too bitter kept it slap bang in the framework of an APA.
The Lowland Glen Amber was dissappointing though. I love a hoppy red/amber beer, and this made promises by declaring the use of Simcoe hops. It was just a run of the mill light brown ale really. Slighty nutty sweetness from the malts and a hint of fruit from the hops, but way too toned down for my liking.

Having the Laid Back IPA and the Mosaic Pale tonight for the football

I haven't had a beer for a few weeks so mentioned it (subtle hint) this morning, Mrs Tea brought 3 bottles of Punk IPA back from town this afternoon so its those and a few glasses of Sauvignon blanc for me tonight.

.

a tweaked coopers ale, im still on the fence with tbh, im guessing another week or two and ill have a better opinion of it (its now 3 weeks conditioned)

BUT... I have a nice st peters 6 weeks conditioned so thatl be my last to end a fairly manic day of bottling and pitching on the same day! im a hero in someone's eyes, but it aint my misses's:smile:

Walking around B&M yesterday and saw they had Old Peculier so grabbed one. Been many a long year since I had one of these. Really nice pint, but at 5.6% I couldn't drink many. Would love to find a BIAB recipe!

We were in B&M's last week (we are not regular shoppers there) i didn't know they sold beer  i will have a better look next time.

Just cracked open a bottle of adnams spindrift which after a 14 hour stint at work is just what I needed, even sweeter is the fact my local tesco were knocking it out for 90p a bottle, naturally I cleared them out of what they had!

I have a fellow brewer visiting in a couple of weeks so I'm trying to put aside a variety of beer for his delectation.

As a result, the Northway PA is nearly finished and with nothing else readily available I tried a pint of the Wilco Hoppy Copper Bitter out of the King Keg.

After only 16 days (10 days in the KK) I'm breaking all my own rules but I was nicely surprised to discover that it's nearly clear and the taste was remarkably nice for its age!

Got the 4 for £6 deal from Morrison's...Brewdog Elvis Juice, Brewdog Hop Fiction, Robinson's 9 Hop IPA and Hardknott's Intergalatic Space Hopper...the latter three because I've never had them before.

I've also got some of the Oaked Age Rum Ale and my first AG SMASH in the fridge at home too.

It's a bitter-sweet day for us...we go on our honeymoon on Sunday, but we've had a couple of bits of bad news today...so we're going to get stuck into the beers.
