La Trappe, witte trappist.

It says it's the first and only white Trappist ale

A we'll wheat again and a night talk. The night talk was super lively, not a gusher but althought it was poured at shed temp 7degC rather than 4degC it shouldn't have been THAT lively even if served in a weiss beer glass

cracked the last of a nice 2 yr old rhubarb wine, but after giving the whole family a tester as it was so nice I only ended up with a couple o glasess so went on to tesco napoleon brandy

Thanks mate.

Will give that a go next year. I will harvest the yeast from their bottles though.

Tea. My choice. Big thumbs up to all those who don't have that choice but give up their holidays to keep everyone else safe and well. Respect...

By the sound of it, I'm drinking refugee hops!
Just cracked a bottle of beer I bought in Lidl, Fort William. Never heard of it before: The Golden Goose by Hatherwood Craft Beer Co. It's got Lidl's address on the back so dunno who actually made it!
Anyway, the blurb says that it's made with Fuggles and Syrian (sic) Goldings.
What I want to know is, are these hops really refugees or just economic migrants??
Actually, it's pretty good (even if they don't know what they put in it ), and for a bottled beer not over-carbonated for my tastes (very rare as I'm not keen on a lot of fizz!)

I had a pint of Celt experience golden age in my local a nice pint, and now drinking a Innis & gunn, not that good but I have another bottle so will drink that before going Belgian
