You’d probably like Sharps Original too but will struggle to find it. I do know of one pub in Cornwall where some of the locals refused to accept anything else. I believe it’s now only made in small batches to the original recipe and available only at a few outlets.

I last had Sharps Original (and Sea Fury) in The Castle Inn on Fore Street, St. Ives. Mind you, if you find yourself in St.Ives you have to visit The Pilchard Press Alehouse on the sea front. Nice cask beers and a great atmosphere - l could live there! 😂
We were in St Ives in September on our beer pilgrimage to the Blue Anchor in Helston. Lovely place St Ives but crowded and no parking. You can get Sea Fury in Brixham and Dartmouth.
PS Do you have a recipe for the Sharps Original?

No I don’t have a recipe, sorry.

We get the train into St.Ives from the Saltings or St. Erth - plenty of parking, the train isn’t expensive and the journey is short. Not so good if you can’t walk very far - although you could say the same for most of Cornwall!

Ha! I've got the train from The Saltings many moons ago!

I’m having a cask bitter as a reward to myself after finding an intermittent fault on our garden lights that kept tripping the circuit breaker. We’ve not had the lights for the last two nights because of this and really missed them. It turned out to be a string of 240v LED garden lights on the gazebo in case you wondered 😉. I’ve ordered a new set but in the meantime all the other lights are grand. 🥳

Saw this in my local Tesco the day after watching the Jiddler's Tipple episode on the Malt Miller's YouTube channel, so thought I'd give it a go.

Very crisp, fresh and drinkable. Light citrusy aromas. I'll definitely get this again.
