I'm really enjoying SN Double Stout these days. Good value, no frills decent flavoursome stout

First taste is with the eyes, this doesn't disappoint Cooper's Sparkling clone This was going to be my next brew but delayed it while I get the big guns out and brew 40 litres of Poes Boston Bitter in the 65 litre Hopcat.

Finally the keg conditioned Poes Boston Bitter.

My wife decided she is going to make her white chocolate and orange terrine for a family gathering on Monday so I nipped out to Sainsbury’s for some ingredients. While there I bought her some nice flowers for Easter and I bought myself 4 of these beauties for £7 as they were on offer. Going to enjoy them now in the garden - it is the weekend!

It was very refreshing and well balanced. Lots of light citrus

Kernel have had the same "lofi" branding since they started. Fantastic brewing, let the beer do the talking.

Tuesday ahhhh...... Along with my previous visit to VC a visit to vocation tap was on the bucket list. It didn't disappoint. 11,13,14,15,17,19,20 were my picks . Mrs loved the kirsh Russel by brew York. She had the grapefruit radler to start. It was important for me to try life and death on draught and it was even better than the cans I have to get from the supermarket.

It's a similar experience to Cadburyland where you love the chocolate but to taste fresh molten chocolate at is source is UBER.

Not one duff beer out of all those I had.

Couldn't have anymore because of driving the following day.

The last beer was night cap and it indeed did work. Slept great in the hebden bridge townhouse which was next to and above the vocation tap. Or maybe the alcohol helped a little.

There were also some takeaways purchased from the fridge.

Not having a drink yet but just out of the local super value and seen these for €25 each so had to have both of course (still have half a bottle of the stout one left) I paid £34 a bottle so saving money View attachment 97468
