So far this week I’ve had Negroni’s in Lucky Cat in Mayfair and Glovers Alley in Dublin.
Now it’s time for one at home. Cheers everybody

Similar to what I brewed at the weekend but I used the last of my Maris Otter, buying Golden Promise next as I prefer it. I’ll have to then brew it again to see what the difference is between the two.I used Gordon Strong's recipe and Windsor yeast.

Misery guts. This glass, holding a pint of my Pirate Pale which is going down nicely, is from our local beer festival. It’s held each year about a mile from my home and we go each year so I have a fair few of these glasses. Don’t worry, I’ll not show any more!

Belgian porter sounds interesting. So Monday was down from Inverness to Dumbarton via fort Augustus and harry potter viaduct. Arrived in the premier bin rather late via McDonald's so a few beers in the hotel room. Thank heavens for our portable mini fridge. The vault city kirsh of life was better in the hanging bat Edinburgh on tap than in a can. Didn't post as I forgot to take a pic. No pic it didn't happen . 2 out of 2 from cromarty. Looking forward to trying the rest of my cromarty stash.
I used gozdawa yeast and it has flavours similar to la trappe quad but it's darker and lower in abv.Belgian porter sounds interesting.
