Really enjoying the latest stout, thin head but tastes gorgeous.

Popped in the garage on Saturday and could smell beer, then noticed it running under the door. I had a keg that was outside the fridge (just waiting for an another to empty) and it was in a pool of beer, turned it upside down and it was coming out of a tiny hole in the bottom. Luckily there was probably only a couple of pints left of another keg; after cleaning it and doing a closed transfer it seems to have survived.

Belgium Pale.

that's a tenby brewing glass unless I'm mistaken. They gave me one in honour of going through the board on a visit. :laugh8:

Trying my Dry Stout. Needed a sample to check gravity again so thought I'd draw off a bit more. Ok but as expected needs time to condition. Want to package this next week as have some lagers planned.

Not sure if I've shown my Murphy's glass on here before so using that. Beer isn't an attempt at a clone of anything, but would lean more in the direction of O'Hara's.

Huel Melon and Bavaria Pale, smells nice, taste is overpoweringly bitter, must have completely underestimated the ibu when I brewed. Probably for the drain.
I have a citra pale like that but I thought astringency as it was very bitter but tried again there now and it’s not as bad. Will leave for a few more weeks to see. And also remember to remove the hop bag before I leave to overnight chill 🫣

Ha, yes that'll do it.

I'm thinking I'll leave it be for another month or so see if it mellows a bit. Once I'd got 3/4 of the way through it was slightly better. Still looked like I had 4 pickled onions in my mouth though.

I had a pint of this one a few weeks ago and the first few mouthfuls were ok and then I had to pour it and couldn’t drink anything else due to tastebud death
