I’m starting a little earlier today because my wife took an old lady shopping and brought me some beers home. This Italian Pale Ale from LIDL isn’t bad. It’s quite highly carbonated, is assertively bitter without being harsh, and isn’t very fruity. I’d say it’s a bit like a Mexican lager with a wedge of lime.

I wasn’t too keen on the hip hop, have been enjoying all of the Greene King cans I got though.

This is last night's dinner place. Watermelon and cucumber Cocktail to drink. An American Diner was something I requested and luckily the son and partner found one that was very near indeed to their apartment. I was in love with the whole aesthetic, fabulous! Every table had a mini jukebox on it. I had crab cakes and they came with a corn chowder. By the way it's 37C today 😅

Just got back from a pub lunch with the grand-children and I’m trying one of my bottled Black IPAs. It’s actually quite good, I’m pleased about that because bottling has always been my nemesis.

…thought I’d push my luck and also try a bottled Altbier. This one’s good too! 👍

Hey guys

Last night's restaurant was The Cheesecake Factory at the Mall. I had an Espresso Martini with Frangelico which was yum. Also pineapple, chicken and shrimp with white rice. Humongous piece of Tiramisu cheesecake which we brought home. Also brought home half of my main as well, it was way too big to finish. That's the end of the first week already.
