I have moved on to a bottle of my American ipa. The keg kicked last week and I had a few bottle conditioned extras in the garage. It is nowhere near as good as the keg, but in a way I can’t easily define.

This was my last night's tipple. Purposely avoided the bag in a keg for three weeks just to see how it fared. Still as fresh as ever I am not expecting it to clear anymore which is a disappointment but the spear is unavoidable.

Pilgrim's Kölsch

A bit over-herbal and minerally and has a slightly odd caraway aftertaste. Actually becoming more balsamic vinegar as it warms.

Unusual.

Sampled some beers this afternoon at the Rebellion Brewery just outside Marlow - thoroughly recommended

L to R Smuggler, Overdraft & Overthrow - they get more nutty as they get darker, the Overthrow on the right is seriously downable so I brought a litre bottle home

Starting with a west indies porter then the I&G below, i tried the Caribbean cask beer for the first time a few weeks ago and it was amazing i spotted it again in Tesco today so bought a couple.
