Had last night (after the fireworks night, One of my bottled Pale ales made May, bottled June '21
Still pale, lively and perfectly clean tasting despite the large amount of deposit in the bottle. This has definitely gone drier - perhaps from its long slow bottle conditioning/fermentation?
Only a few (imp.) quarts of this left now.
Looking forward to them.
 
Thanks for the heads up. athumb.. I tend to avoid Northern monk as the only one I really liked is the chocolate fudge brownie stout which is not as sweet as the blurb on the can says. Also heretic is ok.
I generally like Northern Monk but I don't think those vegetable type flavours should be allowed in beer. For my palate anyway, I know some people like them. It was worth trying though, sometimes I surprise myself 🤣

I think Vocation do the best sweet stouts.
