Had last night (after the fireworks night, One of my bottled Pale ales made May, bottled June '21
Still pale, lively and perfectly clean tasting despite the large amount of deposit in the bottle. This has definitely gone drier - perhaps from its long slow bottle conditioning/fermentation?
Only a few (imp.) quarts of this left now.
Looking forward to them.

The dark one is my Janet's treat. No prizes for guessing what style it is. Directly opened from the beer shed. In true Goodrich Brewery fashion it's on the stronger end of abv for the style. 8.21%

I'm back at home enjoying a small glass of my Exmoor bitter.
My excuse is that I'm QCing it's clarity after combining two casks into one.
Very nearly there.
I wonder if there will be any left by the time it does fully clear.

Sorting out my brewery and found a collection of stuff I'd brewed year ago including this :-

Elderflower pale ale made with pale and lager malts (hence the word hybrid in the name). Found the recipe and I brewed it on the 11th July 2015. Tastes nice .

Thanks for the heads up. I tend to avoid Northern monk as the only one I really liked is the chocolate fudge brownie stout which is not as sweet as the blurb on the can says. Also heretic is ok.

I generally like Northern Monk but I don't think those vegetable type flavours should be allowed in beer. For my palate anyway, I know some people like them. It was worth trying though, sometimes I surprise myself

I think Vocation do the best sweet stouts.

Not done very much today with the poor weather. I did put covers over our outdoor furniture and dry hop a couple of beers (pale ale and ESB). My last 2 Musket beers to start tonight.

So I’ve found my last bottle of the Tropical Stout from the brew and swap. TBH I’d put most of the into stews as it wasn’t for me. Well after over 12 months it’s lovely now full of stone fruit smells and flavours.

We have a few of these in different flavours as my son bought them for Jim without thinking. He obviously doesn't want them as they are full of sugar, so I have the hardship of drinking them

This one is only 5%, so probably only got a dash of rum in.
