Pint of Tribute clone, but it's over attenuated and 6% instead of 4% and I'm not sure why so it's got an alcoholic tang which is a shame as it tastes good.

Couple of drinks before a chicken stew, an early night and back to the grindstone tomorrow.
First up this luscious Verdant oatmeal stout, nice choice from my middle daughter.

Next up this Rauchbier kindly sent me by @Justin Dean in a swap after I sent him a duff bottle in the secret Santa !
A new style for me and very tasty - a light foamy head, deep chestnut brown colour with sweet, smokey flavours from the malt and balanced bitterness.
Very professionally packaged too - hope I can send something as enjoyable.

Samuel Smith Sam’s Brown Ale (Non alcoholic)

Not a brewery I would normally associate with alcohol free beer, but they do a pretty good job of it. If I wasn’t aware it was alcohol free beer my guess would have being a 2.8-3.2% brown ale, it has a nice malty flavour, light on hops and is all in all a very drinkable malt based beverage. That being said I would still opt for the Samuel Smith Nut Brown ale over this if I wasn’t having a dry January.

Poured this...and poured it..had a couple of beers that I have not enjoyed..weird malt character that's a bit off putting..bitter and golden ale are nice but IPA and amber seem a little odd.
