Her's was a Falcon Dortmunder lager(a Carlsberg owned brewery).
Mine was a local special, a Brooklyn Rainbow IPA, very hoppy fragrant.
Then with the meal a NYA Carnegie 100 Watt IPA. 6.8% moderately hoppy on the nose (after the previous one, almost all beers would be), full flavoured, then SWMBO'd said, "sherbert lemon" on the bitter finish.
They use Lemon drop hops in their beers, so that is a prime suspect.
I loved it.

Spring is a busy time here, out in the potting shed again. The London Pride clone, will be glad when my ordinary bitter is ready to drink, seem to be ploughing through this.

Back on the home brew for the foreseeable future, can’t believe how much drinks cost me at Wembley last night. 4 gin n tonics & 2 pimms nearly £75.00, they where pints but even so.
A pint of my golden ale, don’t think there’s much left now. Shame as it’s starting to taste it’s best, the slight twang is gone now. I’ll have to change it next year.

Nightmare brewday with the pump blocking and a ton of hop debris in the FV.

Left a good few weeks and it's cracking

Tonight's starters are:
Her's is the tasty Landsort's lager that SWMBO'd has had before.
Mine is a pale ale 'Sleepy Bulldog' from the Gottlands brewery.
Great flavour without bags of hops - it's all about the malt.
Anyone noticed anything peculiar about the clock?

Sorry for the delay in the reply.
Her's was a pork JargarSchnitzel stuffed with mushrooms and onion with roast potatoes with their skins on.
Mine was a free range veal WeinerSchnitzel, both came with caper berries.
Good 'ol boys were playing a jam blues session in the cellars.
All accompanied by good beers.
What's not to like?

With food to accompany of course.
Her's is a lovely (SWMBO'd said) dry Cava with the salmon,
Mine is an Omnipollo Leven from a Stockholm community brewery in the Belgian triple style 6.5%, fermented with Champagne yeast.
Went well with the rare duck.

I cooled and hooked up the fermenting keg of Simcoe pale ale. It's quite fruity, grapefruit with mango I was not expecting this from Simcoe. Granted it's about 10 days from brew day.
