Her's was a Falcon Dortmunder lager(a Carlsberg owned brewery).
Mine was a local special, a Brooklyn Rainbow IPA, very hoppy fragrant.
Then with the meal a NYA Carnegie 100 Watt IPA. 6.8% moderately hoppy on the nose (after the previous one, almost all beers would be), full flavoured, then SWMBO'd said, "sherbert lemon" on the bitter finish.
They use Lemon drop hops in their beers, so that is a prime suspect.
I loved it.

First up

Was worried about the strawberry but it turned out not too bad.

The most unusual Belgian beer I've ever had, probably not in a good way though.

Cold IPA and an absolute belter.

And a strong lager to round it off and it's a cracker.
