Not seen this before but as I quite like 'Proper Job' I figured it would be worth a try. Definitely not disappointing so far. Light roasty notes backed up with some citrus from the hops.

@pilgrimhudd old ale. Nice beer. Caramel and ripe fruit aroma. Sherry, rum and raisin, and vanilla flavours. Carbonation about right for style IMO. No head to speak of. Might benefit from a bit more body, and - personal taste - I'd like it to be slightly boozier and more bitter. Very enjoyable, thanks for sending

After getting teased about the glassware by @Clint I decided to upgrade. I have to say it does make it a bit more enjoyable.

Rubbish photo, but this is my attempt at doing something like the original Hobgoblin. Hasn't quite worked; needs more caramel character, but it's one I'll develop. It's dark ruby and clear as a bell, but the photo suggests otherwise.

Bloody hedges! Tell me about it. 2 hours cutting and 8 hours picking up. Most of it ends up on gravel so a load of sifting to do still.

Now this is a hazy I can get behind, flawlessly executed. Right out of the can its almost like drinking fresh squeezed orange juice.

Edit: here is the recipe. Interesting using flaked oats and wheat in the same percentage.

Location is all with Greek beer.
BUT bought this in a supermarket in Cephalonia last September.
Lovely hoppy Greek craft beer.

It was in a Tesco near where my parents live in Wiltshire. I was quite surprised to see it in there!

Standard Brown Porter just getting better with age. Nice tight creamy head good cling and head persevering.
