I had that the other night. Nice beer, I would happily nail a few moreJust back from watching Violent Night at the pictures, and I’m having guest beer.
A clone of Maz Pale Ale kindly sent to me by @phildo79. I’m not familiar with the original, but this is right up my straßa.
It’s hop forward with tonnes of grapefruit citrus and a bit of spice. Bitterness is high, properly high in a good way. It’s got great length of flavour, with lingering hip citrus and spice. It’s another stellar brew from phildo, thank you very much for sharing.

Yeah I did boil, I'm too hesitant to try the no boil route.Did you boil your wort. The original is a raw ale
trip to oxford it is then. I'm hoping to park in the Westgate bay 5b like I did last time. It’s in Oxford Market. My wife used to work here at the Radcliffe (not the infirmary) many years ago so we have come from my Birthday, and still love the place.
£9 for a lager ?? Why ?
Basically a strong Dubbel then?Bottling a pale that’s been sitting on the turb for about 2 months. Clear as glass.
Poured a brown porter from Greg hughes book but got more efficiency than normal and it came out around 8% and pitched the yeast without my glasses that turned out to be a Belgian yeast tastes lovely though View attachment 80086
