I don’t have a lot available at the mo so this is one of the unfortunately large 500ml bottles of the Everything imperial stout. View attachment 62186
This Apple kitchen disco playlist is brilliant ❤ Star Wars pop version by the Cantina band followed by I’ve had the time of my life from Dirty dancing. Better close the door in case any of the children find me bopping around the kitchen!
A couple of those and they’ll find you having a lie-down in the kitchen! 😂

English Bitter but the keg just kicked. I’ve been drinking two kegs of bitter at the same time so I do still have a few pints in the other keg.

How's that beer aging Anna. It's on my list when I get around to it.

I’ve decided a Belgian evening is long overdue. First up a Chimay Brown. One of the prettiest beers I’ve poured for a while. Smells like a crumble topping that’s had 2 minutes too many in a hot oven. Toasty dark malts, yeasty phenols holding sway over a fairly strong fruity ester presence. I’m having to try really hard to not just chug it down. It’s a big malty hug in a glass.

Starting with a Gumballhead tonight. Nice easy drinking pint. A touch of grapefruit, but I guess Amarillo is less full-on citrus than Citra or others? This is second batch of this I've made, and the last time, I recall it developed into a more interesting and complex beer in due time; I'll have to see whether I feel the same about this batch.

I have another one nearly ready for a cold crash. Just ordered some yeast as well wyeast 3711 french saison and Belgian Ardennes 3522.
Planning a west coast this week with the San Diego super yeast
I love San Diego Super. My current culture is on its 3rd generation and will tucking in to either a Two Hearted or Pliny clone next. Both of those are going to need a 2-step starter.
Haven’t decided which one to brew first, but Pliny has the edge at the minute.
