A brew day today, just a Best Bitter, after the clean up decided to try my Coopers Sparkling clone bottled on the 6th July so one week in the bottle. As to be expected low carbonation but the POR hops are shining through looking forward to getting stuck into this.

Second up my Foreign Extra Stout, best stout I have ever made, just missed out on the Stout Extravaganza comp but will be entering the Vic brew comp in September.
Head, now consistency of shaving cream, can't beat the darker malts for a positive foam. Good retention all the way down, and the sour taste coming through stronger.

Finally a beer before dinner, a palate cleanser heavily hopped IPA (English) before a left over lamb curry.

Mid week sample of Mosaic & Citra IPA kegged 11 days ago, taken a while but starting to clear.
Fresh tropical fruity aroma and taste, my first brew with Verdant IPA yeast.
Fermentation was impressive and ale still seems lively even though it attenuated to 84%.
Roast chicken with Chard and Courgettes from the garden to follow.
