Drinking my homebrew pilsner, the decoction did give it a nice malty base. Probablu would just add some Munich and skip the decoction next time.

Got me some of these. They're nice, for me there is a decent licorice taste happening. Never had a barley wine before but I can definitely see myself drinking more and perhaps even brewing some some time.

Nice crisp, dry apple and pear wine I made in september 2020.
Just bottled the last demi john, it's aged really well - most of it gets drunk much quicker !

So after a tough day under the Micra struggling with a recalcitrant corroded rear brake pipe to hose union joint, I eventually won. But only just.
So it's a Duvel Dry hopped Vedett IPA.
BBE 11. '21.
What a beautiful end to a beautiful day.
Glad I'm not a Channel crossing refugee.
There have been 3 helicopters come into the local hospital helipad within 1/2 hour.
