Hopefully cloudwater will ditch the partnershipYeah, I’ve not been very impressed with those Cloudwater collab beers. One or two not bad but none great.

I can’t think it’s doing them any good but I don’t know anyone at Cloudwater to ask, maybe it is good for them!Hopefully cloudwater will ditch the partnership
I think Sea Fury is the best ale from Sharps. It’s one of my favourites but l’m not anywhere near as keen on any of the others.Started with a wopf rock from Sharps not seen one of these in the shops for a long time. I've never been keen but took a punt again and it's still very meh.

And then a Bengal Lancer which is one of my faves, I'd like to try and clone one in the future

I quite like Doombar when it’s at it’s best but it’s hard to find a pint at it’s best, even in Cornwall.Yeah I agree, Sea Fury is great, obviously Doom Bar is the one you see most but it's not a patch on Sea Fury. The Pilsner (cant remember the name) is dreadful.
Is that you or me?Going for a safe bet. A dunkelweizen

That's a hell of a lot of hops! What are you brewing?Having a stout while I wait on my first brew this year to come to the boil. View attachment 61660
It's a much underrated beer, that one. I think people assume it's rubbish because it's so cheap, but it's a nice, ordinary light bitter. I'd love to try it on cask, but I've never seen it.
I do actually find Banks Bitter rather nice but as I generally have a keg of session bitter on tap I rarely buy commercial bitter outside of pubs (Also I find bottled bitters tend to be just slightly too highly carbonated for my taste). It's a much underrated beer, that one.
