Maybe a blend of Fuggles and EKG - winning formulaMk II Summit IPA.
This version has a small amount of both light and medium crystal and the 5 min hop changed from Northern Brewer to Fuggles.
Not sure the hop swap works but I like the touch of crystal. Might try EKG next time.
Not clearing very well; didn't use any finings in the FV this time.

Yes it is, on a very steep hill!My eldest son’s girlfriend is from Whaley Bridge. I think that’s near Buxton?
I rather wish I’d bought more than one!Nice beer, had it a couple of times
You have a treat in store then! CheersGood to know, I have a bottle in the cupboard still. It was a Christmas present.
Available on amazon, case of 12.I rather wish I’d bought more than one!
I would normally agree, but that earthy, herby Fuggles taste is jarring a bit with the Summit in a way Northern Brewer didn't. Hard to explain - I think I'd better have another one to help me elaborate.a blend of Fuggles and EKG - winning formula
Maybe drop the Summit then. Biased? Me?I would normally agree, but that earthy, herby Fuggles taste is jarring a bit with the Summit in a way Northern Brewer didn't. Hard to explain - I think I'd better have another one to help me elaborate.
Oops, and can I say you have impeccable tasteNope you’re not with Jim, you’re with me. I prefer the Märzen too! Read it again!
I have one in the fridge as well, I will report back shortly.

Posted this on the American site also. It's a limited edition beer with hazelnut. It's really good and a hint sweet which is a nice twist. Too pricey to have all the time.
Hogarth gave it the stamp of approval which you can tell by his cheerful demeanor.
That was quite funny. I didn't want to overshow Moose since he can get a bit full of himself, becomes impossible. But here he is. He thinks the ABV was too high, made him sleepy. What did Moose think?
I’ve got a couple of bottles of their special reserve which I’m looking forward to trying soon.I've been looking for a decent clone recipe for Dark Island for years. I tried a few - none came anywhere near the original. It's one of my wife's favourites
