I love the mango wheat :D

and the clwb tropica too!
It certainly tastes better than it smells! 😂 I’m still not altogether sure about it.

Just had a pint of the MM AG kit ( I'm loathed to say it's a kit 😁). Really good but, for me, carbonation took a couple of months.
Not tried any AG kits yet, it's easier for me to make my own recipes using Brewfather as most kits are 23L and I usually brew 18L batches.
I often copy the MM recipes though !

My Five Points attempt. I've never tasted the actual stuff (but heard good things from my son, and here too). But this wouldn't win any awards; it's rather surprisingly over-carbed, despite my lowest-ever level of priming, and is generally a bit meh. Falls into the "drinkable, but would probably not make again" category.

We thought we would give this Plum Porter a spin today from @Clint

Apologies in advance as I'm not well rehearsed on dark beers - I will do my best though.

The man himself advised I should avoid the yeast - so it's been cold crashing for a few days in my fridge, and I've left it for an hour to warm up before drinking.

I poured into a jug first and then into 2 glasses - unfortunately this killed the head but that can't be helped. The carbonation is spot on however, so the lack of head is down to me (that doesn't sound right!) 😂

Flavour wise, I get a strong plum flavour, that blends very well with the rest of the ingredients. Very slight roasty aroma and flavour. No idea what the grist was - more research needed. I do however get a hint of liquorice. Also would love to know how you made it plummy.

To my tastebuds there is a low, smooth bitterness, and it lingers after swallowing. It is just right for me. The sweetness is also bang on.

Overall a very good quality beer and we're really enjoying it.

Many thanks Clint for taking the trouble to send.
