So it’s gonna be a big night as we’re both going to be cutting down on the food and beer from tomorrow, hence we’re gonna enjoy ourselves today.

We’re starting off with one of the beers my eldest and partner got us for Christmas. It’s yum! I have the best kids! They also got us a stay in the Brewdog hotel in Manchester (among other things), which they know I’m desperate to go to, bless them!

My younger son and partner have splashed out on cocktail ingredients for us all to enjoy tonight, as you can see behind! Did I mention I have the best kids? So bring on the party!

oh yes, added more delayed xmas present beers from my dad etc... 10 x 440 cans which is healthier than the 3 bottles of Baileys he used to buy me Even my boss bought me some northern monk & brewdog. Which is a lot better than a pal I know who was given a slab of fosters. That's what you call a passive aggressive xmas present

Awesome, you'll love the hotel.

I passed on having a chilled 5 litre mini-keg in my room because I wanted to work through their menu downstairs. The mini-bar in the room is well stocked as is the beer fridge in the shower.

For Breakfast I can recommend the pancakes and maple syrup and crispy bacon. It really is cripsy just as it should be. They have no problem with you taking bar drinks upstairs either. 2 They have a record player and guitar in the room as well as a porn star style neon sign above the bed headboard. Plus they have complimentary sweets in jars on each floor.

I'd go back there in a shot. You're in for a real treat.

Had a dry Christmas following a booster appointment on the 23rd. Got this lovely beer and glass as a present though On reflection the majority of my gifts were beer or homebrew related.
