Having a Bierre De Garde tonight. Crystal clear and deep amber colour. Aroma and flavours of toast and caramel. I thought the first sip was almost heading into nuttiness, but that has given way to rich fruity ester flavours. Its full bodied, great mouthfeel and only minimal flavour of alcohol despite weighing in at 8%. I should really start rating these beers, so this ones getting 4 1/2 stars from me, 1/2 star less than the buyers at Beers of Europe.

Been on kids duites today and they have given a proper run around today 🤯 as soon as the clock hit 5 ....🍺
@pilgrimhudd s Pine Rapids Pale.
Bottled at the end of May. Nice level of carbonation. crystal clear light amber colour.
Pine/citrus aroma. Lovely tasting beer. The bitterness sits well with the body of the body making it very drinkable. Flavour is what I'm getting from the aroma. Strong pine with a citrus orange flavour. I'm really liking the hop profile, it's the sort of thing Im looking for in my Amber's. It's almost a little old school I suppose so I would think it's a combo of old school and new hops.. love it.. happily drink this all night. What's the hop combo?

Glad you like it dave, it's probably my best pale ale, which to be fair isn't saying a lot. Hops are simcoe and cascade, I'll dig up the recipe later if you want.
