Supporting another Devon brewery bought this in Dawlish couple of weeks back. Tastes ok but it's not a NEIPA as its neither fruity or hazy.

First try for me tonight Proper job IPA. Not really a fan, just a bit to twangy for me. However homemade dry white is very tasty. Can you tell hubby likes it too, just left enough for me to have a glass.

Thought I’d try this while I’m in the mood for a Pilsner. It’s one from a case I bought for my son-in-law because it’s what he drinks…except when he’s here he doesn’t, he drinks my Czech Pilsner!

Having tried it, I understand why. It tastes dirty like a stale cracker. I’ve had a few sips but I’m not having any more. :(

Got to agree, that is nasty!

Second from the Kernel mixed case. Mosaic & Cascade IPA 6.4%

The overall impression here is of balance with nothing in your face or OTT. It's a strong beer but light on its feet. It makes a lot of other IPAs look sluggish and heavy. The flavours follow a similar theme - all there but subtle rather than shouting the gospel of dank tropical hoppiness from the rooftops.

It's an interesting one... given a glass blind would I rate it highly or think it was lacking something? Is it a brilliant example of modern IPA made with a deft hand few can manage - or a lightweight charlatan, the Emperor's New Craft Beer?

It's a bit sad that if we want a beer of an evening we have to wait until we've picked up the son (opposite son to the cricketing one).

Unfortunately he works 20 miles away and because the bus service is diabolical, we have to pick him up every night from 10 miles away. Doesn't help that he refuses to take driving lessons! Bit annoying to be fair!
Time to invest in a push bike
