Just cracked open a few bottles of a semi local beer. Both were very good but the Ember especially was very nice. More of a christmassy drink but I over indulged on Brew Dog Pales yesterday so it's most welcome.

First of a small batch Leffe blond clone attempt whilst I get the IPA bottled, nice and clear, frothy head on pour, not bad, a little bit thin and a bit too much cloves after taste but it’s only been bottled three weeks so let’s see in another month or so.

Another boring hazy ipa, this one is too smooth and creamy I don't like it at all. Not a dumper but I will never drink one again. I don't get all the love for soft mouth feel hazy ipa's.

Last night I tried my new saison but i was on the way to being two sheets to the wind, so I can't really remember anything more than it being quite nice and possibly needing a bit more time.

I was trying to abstain but the mixed case I bought from Untapped in Raglan was calling.

Very nice pale ale and very refreshing after a hard day off cleaning, tidying, looking after kids and a brief spell at the allotment.
